The Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Association delivers the latest joyful news for residents and traders in China: now you can link your personal Iraqi bank account to the Chinese Alipay and WeChat programs. After numerous continuous visits over the past two years, the Iraqi-Chinese Friendship Association has been at the forefront in obtaining approvals from the relevant Chinese authorities to recognize Iraqi banks in Chinese programs, with ambitions to open and integrate Iraqi bank accounts with Chinese banks. In cooperation with our Iraqi embassy in Beijing and the annual regular meeting each year with the Public Relations Center and advisors in the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese Friendship Association with countries worldwide, Iraqi expatriates can now link their bank accounts to Chinese programs, make payments, and transfer small amounts of money with multiple bank cards at the official Iraqi/Chinese exchange rate. These are positive steps taken by the Chinese government after the Chinese New Year, as promised in our annual meetings. The first of which was to facilitate travel procedures and grant multiple visas to Iraqi traders, and the second is this valuable step that saves effort and facilitates simple financial transfers.
